Renewing an information system for land administration is complex: intricate laws, shared responsibilities, multiple data formats and compliance with the LADM ISO 19152 standard.
This paper describes how Kadaster successfully renewed its deeds registration system between 2016 and 2018, applying Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing and Continuous Delivery — and reflects on the lessons learned for land administration system development more broadly.
